The Pro-Vigil $500 Per-Unit Referral Fee

We sat down and asked ourselves what would get US to refer our colleagues to our favorite companies. T-shirts? Nah. They just don’t cut it. $50? You’re getting warmer. Still… that just doesn’t cut it.

We decided that a $500 referral fee would really convince us to spread the news about our live video surveillance company. That’s some serious spending money, and we hope you seriously consider referring business to us.

And remember - that’s $500 PER UNIT we install. Our installs range from 1 Virtual Guard Station unit to 10 or more. We’re surveillance experts, not mathematicians so we’ll let you figure out what kind of cash that could put in your pocket ;)

If you’d like more information please email your favorite Pro-Vigil contact or send an email to info@pro-vigil.com or call us at 866.616.1318.

The small print: we pay your $500 per unit referral fee upon the completion of the 90th day of the contract.

Pro-Vigil’s New Virtual Guard Station Fights $1 Billion in Construction Site Theft

Virtual Guard Station Construction Site SecurityConstruction contractors still get hammered by $1 Billion (US) in annual loss due to theft and vandalism. This loss becomes even more deadly to business as construction costs rise and the credit markets plummet.

Pro-Vigil, a construction site security company, answered this $1 Billion in theft and vandalism by creating the industry’s first affordable mobile security unit designed solely for live remote surveillance: the Virtual Guard Station. The Virtual Guard Station is less expensive and more effective than guards or video cameras.

Once installed at a job site, the Virtual Guard Station enables Pro-Vigil’s security agents to watch live feeds from cameras mounted on the unit. When Pro-Vigil’s security agents spot an intruder, they first flash strobe lights installed on the Virtual Guard Station, followed by pre-recorded warning shouts. They follow this up with a call to the police.

“The Virtual Guard Station is the first unit of its kind, designed and built solely for live construction site monitoring,” said Jeremy White, President of Pro-Vigil. “Other security companies simply bolt cameras onto trailers. The Virtual Guard Station is a revolution in the construction security industry.”

The Virtual Guard Station offers construction contractors a number of enhancements over trailers, including:

* Reduced footprint makes the Virtual Guard Station easier to work around, giving job sites more room for materials and maneuvering.

* Smaller size makes it easy to place the Virtual Guard Station for optimum job site lighting and visibility.

* No hitch or wheels makes it harder for thieves and vandals to move and disable the Virtual Guard Station.

* Tougher, sturdier construction than the standard trailer.

* “Clean-Sheet” design of the Virtual Guard Station focused exclusively on stopping construction site theft and vandalism.

Copper Theft Still Rampant, Especially in Texas

The unfortunate rash of metal theft, especially copper, shows no signs of letting up. CSO Online’s Scott Berinato sums it up well in his recent article “Copper Theft: The Metal Theft Epidemic”: “China needs metal, and junkies need crystal meth. Where these two facts intersect, there’s metal theft.”

With copper still at over $3 a pound it doesn’t seem likely that thieves will stop targeting the valuable metal any time soon.

Major Copper Thefts in Dallas:
Two major thefts in Dallas had Time Warner offering a $10,000 reward early last month for tips on metal-related crimes that cost them thousands. The thefts stopped phone and internet for over 45,000 Time Warner customers.

Copper Theft in Austin:
Meanwhile, some of Austin’s Habitat for Humanity new built homes have been hit for copper too, causing heartache amongst volunteers and the homes’ recipients alike.

It looks like NO ONE is safe from metal theft, and with such theft - and the price of copper - on the rise it’s important for you to protect your construction site with live, remote surveillance to scare off any thieves before they get started.

Protect Your Construction Site from Copper Theft:
If you’d like to learn more about the cycle of metal theft read Scott Berinato’s Copper Theft: The Metal Theft Epidemic. If you’d like construction site security in Texas or anywhere else in the US, contact Pro-Vigil today: 866.616.1318.
