Pro-Vigil: Helping to Give Every Child a Chance to Play Baseball
The good folks over at Miracle League live by the motto that “Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play Baseball.” The Miracle League organization gives physically and mentally challenged kids the opportunity to play our Nation’s favorite pass time. When we got the chance to help them build a field we here in Texas we said yes.
According to the Miracle League website: “…there are 180 Miracle League Organizations across the country including Puerto Rico, 80 completed rubberized fields, and 100 fields under construction. The Miracle League is proud to serve over 25,000 children and young adults with disabilities.”
All the building materials, tools and construction time are donated by local general contractors - and it’s our job at Pro-Vigil to make sure they only have to donate once. We’re protecting them with live monitoring and the use of a trailer for the entire duration of the project build.
Texas rains have pushed the project back, but as soon as the weather clears we’re ready to get out in the field protecting those kind contractors who donated their time and money to this project.
Here’s the Miracle League website.
If you’d like to contribute to the project please contact us at info@pro-vigil.com or by phone at 866.616.1318. Ask for Jeremy and mention the Miracle League project.
